Why choose Cosmetology?

All Cosmetology tutors have a wealth of aesthetic experience and are chosen for their extensive knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to quality. All tutors have been individually assessed by Medical Director Dr Lisa Delamaine and attend an annual update to ensure continuity and quality assurance is maintained to the highest standards. Although aesthetic training is unregulated, Cosmetology uses protocols and policies used for private practices set down by The Health Care Commission as a matter of guidance. Cosmetology has developed an enviable reputation through excellent course material, a practical approach, post course advice and listening to and acting on feedback from delegates to constantly improve our service.

Who does Cosmetology offer training to?

To attend any of Cosmetology's courses, you must be a registered doctor, nurse, dentist or paramedic. Your GMC, GDC or NMC number will be requested when booking your course.

Who supplies the models used on the course?

We recommend that delegates bring a model so they can follow up on their training and see results post treatment - usually around 2 weeks later.

You may wish to be a model yourself and experience the treatments so that you can better describe to your future clients what they should expect in the way of results and comfort/discomfort.

You can do both of the above or alternatively, Cosmetology can supply a model for you. All we ask is that you let us know 2 weeks prior to your course as to which of the options you would prefer.

Once I have completed my course, what does Cosmetology offer to help me get started with my business?

As well as your exemplary training you will receive certification on the day which is recognised by three of the main insurers of the aesthetic industry. You will receive access to the members area on the website where you will find business and marketing advice, examples of consent forms, patient literature, patient consultation aids, useful contacts, industry associations and subscriptions.

Do you offer after sales support?

Here at Cosmetology, we work by the ethos of 'you are not alone'. We are available to provide advice should you need it, whether it be on day one, or one year on. If we cannot help with your enquiry we will always endeavour to put you in touch with somebody who can.

Does Cosmetology offer private mentoring?

Cosmetology can offer private mentoring bespoke to your requirements. There are two options available;

Option1

One of our aesthetic practitioners will travel to a location of your choice where all models would have to be sourced by yourself. Product can be purchased from us or provided by you. Cosmetology will supply you with criteria for selecting your models; this will ensure that you get the maximum benefits from your exclusive training session.

Option 2

You can visit us at our established clinic based in Kent (but near to London), where all models and products will be provided for you. If you wish we can also organise your travel and accommodation, relieving you of all stress and allowing you to concentrate on, and enjoy your specialist aesthetic training.

Why should I consider offering BOTOX® anti-wrinkle injections?

BOTOX® has become increasingly popular for treating lines and wrinkles, as it is now an affordable and accessible option for most people. The aesthetic market has been growing at a rate of approximately 35% year on year for the past 5 years.

BOTOX® has over 25 years of clinical data and an excellent safety record.

Clients usually see a marked improvement to their appearance that creams, lotions and potions cannot achieve. Treating people with BOTOX® cosmetically can result in higher levels of self esteem and confidence for the patient.

The general public opinion to 'growing old gracefully' has changed dramatically over the past 10 years with people looking after themselves from the inside out, and in general leading healthier lifestyles.

Most aesthetic practitioners get a real sense of job satisfaction and feel appreciated for the work they perform. The aesthetic industry can also be financially rewarding and offer a better quality of life.

Should I consider Dermal Fillers as well as BOTOX®?

In our experienced opinion, yes! The face should be assessed and treated as a whole.

Dermal Fillers offer the patient an instant result on areas that cannot be treated with BOTOX®, such as the Naso Labial Folds, Oral Commissures and Marionettes. Treating these areas softens the face, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

Lips can be corrected for asymmetry, creating the perfect pout or simply used to stop lipstick bleeding; a commonly seen problem in predominantly middle-aged women.

When used in combination with BOTOX®, dramatic results can be achieved, leaving your patients delighted and returning time and time again.

After training, where do I get my BOTOX® if I am not a prescriber?

After you complete your training with Cosmetology we will provide details of a company who offer a remote  consultation service following a remote consultation.
